DVBS Members Contribute to Art Party 2009
Hunterdon Art Museum's Annual Fundraising Event
The Delaware Valley Bead Society is one of many contributors to the success of the ART Party 2009 at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, New Jersey. The event held every October, is one of the biggest fundraisers for the museum. More than 150 people attended.
DVBS members and Museum volunteer Amy Happ used beads, fiber and handmade paper donated by DVBS members to make 150 one-of-a-kind bookmarks. The bookmarks were presented to each guest as a memento and special thank you for their support. Attendees, the museum staff, and the museum's associate board members were very pleased with the unique gift and expressed their gratitude to DVBS for its donation.
