The business world defines "branding" as the marketing practive of creating a name, symbol or design that identifies or differentiates a product or service from others. But what does that actually mean for businesses, large or small, and how does this help in today's competitive marketplace? Leslie Pope will offer insights on branding based on what she has learned in the business classes she has attended and her first hand experience in developing her own brand, Twisted Sistah.

Leslie is a graduate of Drexel University where she majored in fashion design. While at Drexel, she won the J.W. Smith "Most Saleable Daywear" award for her collection of beaded knitwear. Pope's business features a comprehensive inventory of quality seed beads, threads, fibers and supplies sold online and at major bead shows in the northeast. Twisted Sistah booths can be visited at most Innovative Beads Expos and BeadFest events. For more information visit www.twistedsistahbeads.com
