Jessica Giovacchini

About the Artist
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Web Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she developed color theory and design skills she now carries into her beadwork. Turning her passion for beads into a career, she has created an online store for beading patterns and supplies.

Having started off primarily with stringing and macrame techniques, Jessica learned and fell in love with herringbone stitch. This prompted her to explore other beadweaving stitches, often incorporating seed beads with other types of beads and components into her beadwork.

Jessica's focus has turned to creating peyote stitch patterns and ornaments, the design process and color selection being her favorite. Excited by the way the same design can be dramatically changed by color, she finds inspiration in everyday objects, pillows or color combinations in a painting.
